Web-Based Therapy Management System
The Medtronic CareLink® Therapy Management System for Diabetes combines data from all of your diabetes management tools to give you and your healthcare professional a clear — and easy — view of your progression on the pump.
CareLink™ Personal is an easy, practical way to chart your blood glucose fluctuations, and to compare those changes with your daily activities, including meals, exercise, and sleep. This online system brings together information from all of your diabetes management tools, including your:
- Paradigm® insulin pump
- Blood glucose meter
- Logbook
CareLink™ Personal combines information from these tools to make charts and graphs that can help you and your healthcare professional discover trends and other information that can lead to improved therapy management for greater control.
Getting Started is as easy as 1…2…3!
- All you need to sign up for CareLink™ Personal is a computer, any Paradigm® 512 or higher pump, a Link™ downloading cable, a Link™ meter, and access to the Internet. Simply go to http://carelink.minimed.com and click the “Sign Up Now” button to register to use the system.
- Sign in using your newly created username and password.
- Upload your data to CareLink™ Personal from your Paradigm® insulin pump and select BG meters, click the “Upload” tab, and follow the onscreen directions.
Now You Have Round-The-Clock Control
Each time your pump is uploaded, CareLink™ Personal stores your insulin use and glucose values as an individual file.
You can view the information at any time and select and print whichever reports you need to bring to your next appointment with your healthcare provider.
