Olivia and Hannah are identical twins, in almost every way. The only difference is that Olivia was diagnosed with diabetes when she was only a year and a half old. Her parents struggled to keep her blood glucose levels under control. At the age of three, her physician advised the family that Olivia would be a good candidate for insulin pump technology. After starting with the pump, Olivia found she no longer had to adhere to such a rigid schedule anymore, and her parents found it easier to keep her glucose levels in check. Now, she can eat birthday cake and enjoy sleeping in.

In fact, Olivia was receiving so much attention, showing off her new pump, that Hannah felt a little left out. So, Hannah was given a replica pump, all of her own. The girls love to show off their pumps together, every chance they get!
